Ballinastoe Wood

Exhibited at the 1996 RIAI Awards, this woodlands house in Ballinastoe, Wicklow harkens back to the traditional Irish tower house, reimagined in today's vernacular.  The varied assortment of windows provide different views of the surrounding forest in each space, as well as employing passive solar energy ideas.
