Kildare Cottage + Studio

Commissioned by an artist, this cottage and adjoining studio space are carefully integrated with the historic surrounding garden.  Naturally exposed timber doors and windows and generous glazing enhance this connection to its wider context.

In plan, the cottage forms an asymmetrical T-shape, allowing for separation between the more open kitchen and living spaces and the more private bedrooms and bathrooms.
